Is the “Captain Andreevo” scheme being repeated at the border crossings on the Danube River and are state institutions protecting attempts at unfair competition and imposing a monopoly?

The first part of the series, published today, reveals how the only two companies that participated in the tender procedure by which the Municipality of Ruse awarded the right to build on the property are directly or indirectly related to Razmig Kerope Chakaryan – Ami, with whom the operators of the parking lot at the “Captain Andreevo” border crossing are associated, and until recently, the border preventive disinfection, the collection of state fees, the phytosanitary control laboratory and other border control-related activities.
