API and the Seven Percent

A new investigation by the Anti-Corruption Fund (ACF) reveals a corruption scheme involving millions and rigged public procurement at the Road Infrastructure Agency (API).

The investigation, titled “API and the 7 Percent,” is based on documents and the testimony of Anton Taskov, owner of Bitulait Ltd, one of the leading road marking companies in Bulgaria.

As a small expert organisation, we prioritise tips that contain sufficiently specific facts about corruption at least at the mid-level. Please describe all facts and data (names, addresses, dates, amounts, e-mails). Attach copies and/or originals of documents if you have any. Please be patient – our thorough approach takes time. We do not handle cases that concern solely private interests.
