The Anti-Corruption Fund Foundation supports the position of the Access to Information Programme against the proposed amendments to the Access to Public Information Act

The Anti-Corruption Fund Foundation supports the Access to Information Programme’s position against the proposed amendments to the Access to Public Information Act. Our team actively uses the tools of the Act to obtain and verify crucial public information that would otherwise remain hidden from the public. We often fight lawsuits against illegal refusals of information, which carry considerable costs. The new provisions of the Act would lead to arbitrary setting of fees on receiving information, putting an additional financial burden on the applicants seeking public information. The full text of the Access to Information Programme’s position can be found here.

You will be redirected to an encrypted platform for submitting tips, in order to guarantee anonymity. Your IP address, the content of your message and any other sensitive information about the whistleblower that could be misused by third parties will remain fully hidden.

As a small expert organisation, we prioritise tips that contain sufficiently specific facts about corruption at least at the mid-level. Please describe all facts and data (names, addresses, dates, amounts, e-mails). Attach copies and/or originals of documents if you have any. Please be patient – our thorough approach takes time. We do not handle cases that concern solely private interests.
