Nikolay Staykov for the Bulgarian National Radio on the similarities and differences between the KTB case and the case against Vasil Bozhkov

“Since the leak of the US Embassy’s cables to WikiLeaks in 2011, there has been no legal reason not to launch a prosecutor’s inspection of Vasil Bozhkov’s activities and the origin of his money. Bulgarian judicial system’s best cleansing will be if the new Prosecutor General answers why there has not been a real investigation of him after 2011. I very much doubt that he will do it, knowing the way he was chosen. But these are issues that we need to raise, and not just be content with the spectacles that the new Prosecutor General is presenting to us in an increasingly professional way,” Nikolay Staykov of the Anti-Corruption Fund told Horizont.

Please describe all facts and data (names, addresses, dates, amounts, e-mails). Attach copies and/or originals of documents if you have any. Please be patient – our thorough approach takes time.
