“It is an open secret that when there is corruption, it is carried out through intermediaries. ” The connection between the Eight Dwarfs case and the Fast Track List is that both cases are about shining a light on some alleged intermediaries who act between the people who are somehow affected by cases handled by the special prosecutor’s office and the institutions themselves – intermediaries between these two levels. The essential difference is that in the first case it is paid for the service, and in the second case, we do not. Therefore, we cannot say with certainty that the intermediaries have the influence they claim. It matters not only what and how they say, but also who they are- individuals with proven contacts in the system, often former officials and at high levels. This is most significant because it gives a sense of high credibility.  The full interview with Andrey Yankulov for Darik Radio

As a small expert organisation, we prioritise tips that contain sufficiently specific facts about corruption at least at the mid-level. Please describe all facts and data (names, addresses, dates, amounts, e-mails). Attach copies and/or originals of documents if you have any. Please be patient – our thorough approach takes time. We do not handle cases that concern solely private interests.
