Atanas Slavov: European Prosecution Not Replacement for Lack of Reform in Bulgarian Prosecution

The election of Laura Kovesi for European Chief Prosecutor despite Romania’s lack of approval signifies that Europe will not neglect the challenges with the adoption of rule of law in the region, said ACF expert, Atanas Slavov, in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio. “This could only gladden us, considering the present state of affairs and the attemts to interfere with the Bulgarian judicial system,” he added.
