The authoritative Swiss daily Neue Zürcher Zeitung devotes a place to the ACF’s Eight Dwarfs investigation in an article on the ongoing second month of anti-corruption protests in Bulgaria: “In recent months, an investigation of the NGO Anti-Corruption Fund is also a topic of discussion. The video series shows in detail the carefully documented case of a businessman who turned for help in settling a lawsuit to a suspicious mediator with contacts in the Prosecutor’s Office. The dispute was resolved in favor of the businessman, but he was soon forced with tricks and threats to transfer all his property to the mediator. Such stories fuel the sense of mafia and state cohesion shared by many protesters,” author Volker Pabst writes.
