The most important thing about anomaly-monitoring analyses is the politicians' awareness that they are taking place

Dr. Nikola Tulechki, co-author of the ACF analysis on the purchased and controlled vote for The Alternative:
“Our methodology is transparent. One conclusion is that turnout in the at-risk stations fell disproportionately more after the introduction of the machines than the turnout in all the polling stations. There is a strong suspicion that the machines have driven down the turnout in at-risk stations compared to other elections.
For the first time, we follow the indicator of concentrated preferential voting – for example, how all possible preferences for a candidate are in only a few polling stations. We also use interviews with advocates.
The October report was mentioned in Parliament by Mr. Rashkov. We hope that it will receive the needed attention. The most important thing in this type of analysis is the very realization that this type of analysis is taking place and people are being careful about their behavior.”
