The MoI has announced that it will withdraw the license of Delta Guard OOD
Several hours ago the Ministry of Interior (MoI) published a notice informing the security company Delta Guard OOD that it has initiated a procedure for withdrawing the company’s license to provide security services: https://bit.ly/2ZrgHxf
We remind the readers that ACF alerted the MoI as early as November 2020 about reports for multiple violations by Delta Guard OOD, disclosed in “The Eight Dwarfs” investigation. Back then we urged for a thorough investigation of the company’s activities.
In November 2020, the former leadership of the MoI informed us that they had found no violations with the documentation of Delta Guard and that the company had carried out its activities in line with the requirements of the Private Security Services Act.
In May 2021, we re-submitted our request for an inspection and about a month ago, the MoI informed us that the allegations of violations committed by Delta Guard were well-founded. The MoI also informed us that they have launched 5 disciplinary proceedings in connection with our reports, including of an unnamed head of a regional directorate of the MoI.
