The Anti-Corruption Fund Foundation supports the Club Prosperity’s petition about creating a public internet register of all government expenditures related to the state of emergency

On April 7, more than 20 days ago, we applied for access to public information to the Ministry of Health, requesting copies of the contracts with Chinese and Bulgarian manufacturers of personal protective equipment. One week after the legal deadline, our inquiry remains unanswered. We believe that in this and other cases, the public interest requires that the citizens have the most detailed information about the public funds spent on dealing with the COVID-19. In this regard, we announce our support for the Club Prosperity’s initiative for creating a public internet register of all the expenditures made by the government during the state of emergency. We believe that such a register would allow for civilian control and transparency. You can sign the petition here.
