DeFakto: The Supreme Judicial Council Inspectorate Starts Conflict of Interest Proceedings Against Deputy Prosecutor General, Following NGO Report
The Inspectorate at the Supreme Judicial Council has started an investigation into Deputy Prosecutor General, Ivan Geshev, following a report by Boec, a non-governmental organization.
The report calls for the dismissal of the deputy prosecutor general since he had failed to declare conflict of interest, related to the investigation into Desislava Ivancheva, the former mayor of a Sofia district.
